At Henrio, we aim to make the collection and delivery of purchased products clear, convenient, and transparent. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains the options available to customers who purchase products through Henrio.ng.
Henrio does not offer free shipping. Customers may either collect their purchased items from our physical shop or request delivery at their own cost.
1. Available Order Fulfilment Options
Customers purchasing from Henrio may choose between the following options:
- Physical Shop Pickup: Customers may collect their purchased items directly from Henrio’s physical shop after the order has been confirmed and is ready for collection.
- Customer-Requested Delivery: Customers who require delivery may request that their order be sent to their preferred location. The applicable delivery or courier cost will be borne by the customer.
- Delivery is not automatically included in the price of products displayed on Henrio.ng unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. No Free Shipping
Henrio does not currently provide free shipping or free nationwide delivery.
Where delivery is requested, the delivery charge is separate from the cost of the purchased products.
The applicable delivery charge may depend on factors including:
- delivery destination;
- size and weight of the order;
- type of product;
- quantity ordered;
- packaging requirements;
- courier or logistics provider; and
any special handling requirements.
Where a delivery charge cannot be calculated automatically on the website, Henrio will communicate the applicable cost to the customer before the order is dispatched.
3. Physical Shop Pickup
Customers who prefer not to pay for delivery may choose to collect their orders from Henrio’s physical shop.
There is no shipping or delivery charge for orders collected directly from our shop.
Customers should wait until Henrio confirms that their order is ready before coming for collection.
When collecting an order, the customer may be required to provide:
order number;
receipt or proof of payment;
customer’s name; or
another reasonable means of verifying the purchase.
Where another person is collecting an order on behalf of the customer, Henrio may request confirmation or authorisation from the customer before releasing the goods.
4. Customer-Requested Delivery
Delivery is provided at the customer’s request.
A customer who requires delivery should provide a complete and accurate delivery address and any necessary contact information.
Henrio may obtain a delivery quotation from an available courier, logistics provider, transport company, or other suitable delivery service.
The delivery charge will be communicated to the customer where applicable.
The order will normally be dispatched after:
the customer’s order has been confirmed;
payment for the purchased goods has been confirmed;
the delivery arrangement has been agreed; and
the applicable delivery charge has been paid or otherwise agreed with Henrio.
5. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are payable by the customer unless Henrio expressly agrees otherwise for a particular transaction or promotion.
Delivery charges are not fixed for every order because shipping requirements may differ according to destination, weight, dimensions, quantity, and product type.
Henrio will not describe delivery as free where the customer is required to pay a delivery or courier charge.
6. Delivery Time
Delivery times may vary depending on:
the customer’s location;
- product availability;
- order size;
- courier availability;
- public holidays;
- weekends;
- road or transportation conditions;
- weather;
- security restrictions; and
- circumstances beyond Henrio’s reasonable control.
- Where possible, an estimated delivery period will be communicated to the customer.
- Any delivery date or time provided is an estimate unless Henrio expressly confirms that it is guaranteed.
- Customers requiring an order for a specific event, production deadline, exhibition, campaign, or other time-sensitive purpose are strongly advised to place their orders early and inform Henrio of the required date before delivery arrangements are finalised.
7. Large, Heavy, or Special-Handling Products
- Some Henrio products may require special transportation because of their weight, dimensions, fragility, or handling requirements.
- These may include printing machines, large-format equipment, display stands, signage materials, boards, rolls, and other bulky products.
- Delivery charges for these items may be quoted separately after considering the appropriate vehicle, courier, packaging, handling, and destination.
- Henrio may recommend a suitable transportation method where necessary.
8. Customer Responsibility for Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate:
- recipient name;
- telephone number;
- delivery address;
- city or state;
- landmark or location information where necessary; and
- other information reasonably required to complete delivery.
- Henrio will not be responsible for delays resulting solely from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading delivery information supplied by the customer.
- If an incorrect address causes additional delivery costs, the customer may be required to pay the additional reasonable charge before another delivery attempt is made.
9. Failed Delivery Attempts
Customers should ensure that they or an authorised recipient are available to receive an order at the agreed delivery location.
Where delivery fails because:
- the recipient is unavailable;
- the customer provided an incorrect address;
- the recipient refuses to receive the order without valid reason; or
- the courier cannot contact the customer,
- additional delivery charges may apply before another delivery attempt is arranged.
This does not apply where the delivery failure results from an error attributable to Henrio or circumstances for which applicable law requires Henrio to bear responsibility.
10. Inspection on Delivery or Collection
Customers are encouraged to inspect their orders as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.
Where reasonably possible, customers should check:
- product quantity;
- visible physical condition;
- model or specification;
- packaging;
- accessories; and
- whether the correct product was supplied.
- If a product arrives visibly damaged, incomplete, defective, or different from the product ordered, the customer should contact Henrio as soon as reasonably possible.
- Photographs, videos, packaging images, delivery documentation, and other evidence may be requested to help us investigate the issue.
- Any return, replacement, repair, or refund will be handled in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy and applicable consumer-protection law.
11. Courier and Logistics Providers
- Henrio may use independent courier, transport, or logistics providers to fulfil customer-requested deliveries.
- Where Henrio arranges delivery on the customer’s behalf, customers should report any delivery problem promptly so that Henrio can investigate the matter with the delivery provider and determine the appropriate resolution.
- Where a customer independently appoints and directly contracts their own courier or transport provider to collect an order from Henrio, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the provider is properly instructed and authorised to collect the goods.
- Nothing in this section limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Order Tracking
- Tracking information may be provided where the selected courier or logistics provider offers a tracking service.
- Not every delivery method provides real-time tracking.
- Where tracking is available, the customer may receive a tracking number, courier contact information, or other relevant delivery details.
13. Delays Outside Henrio’s Control
- Henrio will make reasonable efforts to facilitate timely delivery after dispatch.
- However, delays may occur because of events outside our reasonable control, including transportation disruptions, courier delays, road closures, severe weather, accidents, security situations, public holidays, government restrictions, or other unexpected events.
- Where Henrio becomes aware of a significant delay affecting an order, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer.
14. Changes to Delivery Arrangements
- If a customer wishes to change the delivery address or delivery arrangement after placing an order, the customer should contact Henrio as soon as possible.
- A requested change may not be possible once an order has been dispatched.
- Additional costs resulting from a customer-requested change may be payable by the customer.
15. Collection by Third Parties
- A customer may authorise another person, courier, driver, or representative to collect an order.
- Henrio may request reasonable confirmation that the person collecting the order has been authorised by the customer.
- Products will not knowingly be released to an unauthorised person.
16. Relationship With Our Refund and Returns Policy
- Delivery and shipping matters should be read together with Henrio’s Refund and Returns Policy.
- Where Henrio supplies:
- an incorrect product;
- a defective product;
- a materially misdescribed product; or
- a product damaged in circumstances for which Henrio is responsible,
- any applicable return delivery arrangements will be handled according to our Refund and Returns Policy and applicable Nigerian consumer-protection law.
17. Consumer Rights
- Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or override rights available to customers under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other applicable Nigerian law.
- Where applicable law provides a customer with greater protection than a provision of this policy, the applicable law will prevail.
